On Friday, March 8, 2024, the decarbonization symposium "Prospects and collaboration for decarbonization in Japan, China, Korea, and Taiwan" was held at Teikyo University Kasumigaseki Campus. This symposium reports the results of joint research between Japanese researchers, including our university faculty, and researchers from China, South Korea, and Taiwan.
In this fifth session, participants discussed the development and characteristics of decarbonization in East Asia among China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, as well as the potential for new business collaboration in the region. The day started with greetings from the University Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga, followed by 10 presentations. From TUAT, Faculty of Economics Professor Guo Sisi, Faculty Professor Yosuke Roguchi, Faculty Associate Professor Eiji Horiuchi, Faculty Senior Assistant Professor Kouhei Samye gave lectures, using slides based on each faculty member's research theme, reporting on various aspects of decarbonization efforts and future developments in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan respectively. In between the lectures, a question-and-answer session was held to discuss the significance of the issues and the potential for new business collaboration in the region. The symposium was attended by over 60 people and was a great success. Thank you very much for your participation. The University will continue to disseminate the results of its research to society.
