Teikyo University has submitted a 2024 renewal confirmation application (an application to confirm application for 2025) for the new higher education support system being implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
- * This system will no longer apply to Teikyo University Junior College students enrolled in 2025 or later. However, students enrolled as of 2024 will continue to be eligible.
Procedures at our university
Enrolled students Those eligible for assistance are required to pay their own tuition, with the relevant amount deducted in advance.
In addition, those who are eligible will be required to pay tuition later than usual due to the confirmation procedure.
(1) Confirmation of elegibility subject to the new system of higher education study support
You can confirm whether or not you are eligible for the new system by using the "College Student Financing Simulator" available on the website of the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). Please consult with your parents or guardian (person who maintains your livelihood) to confirm your eligibility before applying for the new system.

(2) Procedures for using the system
If you plan to enroll after April 2020, please be sure to complete the procedure at your campus / office.
In addition, the procedures are announced on the bulletin boards of each campus and office.
- * Those who are already receiving benefit-type scholarships or loan-type scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization need to apply again if they wish to support the new system.
Those who are considering enrolling to our university
- Please pay the amount due at the time of enrollment in full by the application deadline.
If it is confirmed that the applicant is eligible for the tuition reduction, the amount equivalent to the reduction will be refunded after the student is admitted to the university.
Please note that the tuition fee reduction cannot be used in conjunction with other tuition fee reduction programs such as the scholarship program offered by the university. - To use the new system of higher education study support, please follow the procedure below.
a) Those who apply to use the system after enrollment - If you are entering Teikyo University, please follow the recruitment instructions and complete the application process at your own campus after enrollment.
- Announcement of the successful applicants will be made in July. If selected, the transfer of the scholarship funds is scheduled to begin in July.
- The admission fee and the first semester tuition fee will be refunded in August.
(b) Those who have applied for the reserved recruitment at high school, and are candidates for the recruitment. - If you are entering Teikyo University, please follow the recruitment instructions and complete the application process at your own campus after enrollment.
- For those who have been confirmed as successful applicants (those eligible for the reduction), the amount equivalent to the reduction will be refunded after enrollment.
- Refunds for the entrance fee and first semester tuition are scheduled for the end of August.
