Despite signs of economic stability in Japan and abroad, the world has not yet managed to eliminate the growing structural problems in politics, society, and race relations. The future remains uncertain and we cannot know what will happen in the future. We will continue to live in unpredictable times.
Since its founding in 1966, the School Philosophy has upheld "Practical learning," "International perspectives," and "Open mindedness" as its Educational Guidelines. Even in these difficult times, our School Philosophy has not wavered. Rather, precisely because we live in such an unstable and difficult era, we will need people who are able to make rational decisions without prejudice, and who have a solid international perspective. In addition, there will finally be a demand for highly individualistic human resources who have acquired logical thinking through Practical learning.
Teikyo University celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016. After that milestone year, how will our university grow even further over the next 50 years, and how will it contribute to society with its growth potential? We will continue to ponder this major issue and come up with various plans.

After graduating from the Faculty of Keio University’s Faculty of Science and Technology, he completed his doctoral studies Graduate School Graduate School of Science and Engineering at the same university.
He currently Chairman of Teikyo University and President of Teikyo University.
