On Sunday, June 2, 2024, the Teikyo University Rugby Football Club (Hino City, Tokyo). Many children gathered at the tournament, which was aimed at elementary school students and toddlers, and it was very impressive to see them enjoying themselves participating in mini-games and recreational activities organized by Rugby Football Club.
Sixteen teams from upper elementary school participated in the match, and each team's excellent play, which was the result of their hard work in daily practice, was evident in every scene, and the match was heated from the very first match. The matches were held in pool and tournament formats, and Shichikoku Spirits (Hachioji City, Tokyo) won with their excellent passing and disciplined defense. The winning team played an exhibition match against our university's Rugby Football Club, and both teams showed off their skills to the fullest, drawing applause and cheers from the many people gathered at the venue.

This tournament was made possible thanks to the support of the Sports Safety Association and the sports apparel brand BLK. We would like to thank them for their support. Our school will continue to hold sports events in close contact with the local community, creating opportunities for children to experience sports.
