Hachioji CampusRugby Football Club was awarded Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Achievement Award

On Wednesday, July 17, 2023, the 2023 Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Achievement Award was presented to the Teikyo University Rugby Football Club at Itabashi Campus. The Teikyo University Rugby Football Club achieved outstanding results last year, winning the Kanto University Rugby League A League for the 12th time in three consecutive years and the National University Rugby Football Championship for the 12th time in three consecutive years. In recognition of these results, last year's captain, Era Hayato (graduated from Faculty of Medical Technology in 2023), who is currently active with Kubota Spears Funabashi and Tokyo Bay, was presented with the award by the University's Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga on behalf of the Teikyo University Rugby Rugby Football Club.
