Hachioji Campusaccepted junior high school students for work experience at Hachioji Campus

From Wednesday, September 4th to Friday, September 6th, 2024, Teikyo University Hachioji Campus hosted students from Hachioji Municipal Yuki Junior High School for a work experience program.
First, the students received an explanation from staff from the International Exchange Division about the study abroad program and support system for studying abroad, and experienced staff work such as creating materials for the Study Abroad Fair to be held on Tuesday, September 24th and Wednesday, September 25th, and dealing with international students. They also interviewed international students from the University, considered the significance of Japanese and international students studying together at university, and deepened their international understanding. Next, they went to the Academic Information Division to manage the library collection and put covers on books. On the final day, they participated in a biblibattle with students who were co-reading supporters, which was a great opportunity to experience the joy of conveying the appeal of books.
Our university will continue to deepen its ties with the local community and contribute to society.
