The Yoshimura Seminar Hachioji Campusinvited a guest speaker from APA Hotel Co., Ltd. to give a lecture.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the Yoshimura Seminar of the Department of Tourism Management, Teikyo Faculty of Economics invited Taku Motoya, Executive Vice President and Representative Director of APA Hotel Co., Ltd., as a guest speaker to give a lecture on the theme of "APA Hotel's Unique Strategy."

In this lecture, he talked about APA Hotel's unique psychology-based guest room design, the characteristics of employee training, and the hotel's system that utilizes digital transformation. He also talked about the hotel business from a manager's perspective, such as the management strategy for APA Hotel's global expansion, the inside story behind the creation of APA President Curry, which Mr. Motoya himself created, and the PR strategy that utilizes APA President Curry.
In the Q&A session after the lecture, many questions were asked by the students, such as how to utilize management resources and how to work as a founding family member, and lively exchanges were promoted. Our school will continue to provide a place for Practical learning education as stated in Educational Guidelines.
