In an environment where the economy is expected to emerge from deflation, regions are faced with the challenge of creating innovation, including DX-enabled innovation. In this case, collaboration and co-creation among the region, companies, and universities is key. Teikyo University Faculty of Economics Department of Regional Economics was founded in Utsunomiya Campus and will celebrate its 15th anniversary next year. As a prelude to this commemorative event, a symposium will be held.
Under the theme "Innovation Creation in the Region - Co-creation among the Region, Business and University," the symposium will feature a keynote speech by Hiroko Akiyama, Honorary Professor President of the University of Tokyo, followed by a panel discussion by representatives from industry, academia, government and the private sector.
