It is natural to feel anxious when you are diagnosed with a physical illness such as cancer. Also, when a family member or close friend is diagnosed with cancer, you may worry about how to interact with them. It is said that it is important to care for the mind as well as the body. In this course, we will explain in an easy-to-understand manner the difficulties of mental counseling in the area where mental and physical issues overlap. We invite cancer patients, their families, and local residents to think about this together.
On the day, for those who wish, we will have a chat time about their daily feelings after the lecture, and we will also have a tour of Teikyo University Mental Health Center. If you would like to cooperate with our research, we would appreciate it if you could participate in a questionnaire about your experience with cancer on the day.
