Hachioji Campus, February 25, 2023 - A total of 77 prospective students set foot on the Hachioji Campus for the much-anticipated "Sakidori! New Student Orientation" event. Designed to address queries and alleviate apprehensions, this guidance session was conducted separately from the post-enrollment orientation. On this vibrant day, a dedicated team of student staff from various campus organizations orchestrated the proceedings, offering insights into campus life, facilities, and personal experiences.

The orientation commenced with an informative overview of the university's annual schedule and guidance on utilizing campus resources effectively. This valuable information equipped the incoming students with the essentials for their upcoming academic journey. Following this, the attendees engaged in a "Finding Common Ground" activity during the group work session, which facilitated a comfortable ice-breaking experience, dispelling initial nerves. Subsequent campus tours and dining experiences were curated with precision, as student staff members in each group actively initiated conversations and addressed inquiries with utmost consideration. These interactions forged connections and provided a glimpse into the prospective students' future university life. Participants voiced their enthusiasm, with comments such as: "The various events, like the campus tour, were incredibly enjoyable. Current students were exceptionally kind, and I am now looking forward to what lies ahead." Another shared, "Interacting with seniors and peers from the same department was a wonderful opportunity. It allowed for valuable connections to be established." Additionally, one participant mentioned, "I was able to ask questions to seniors that I didn't get a chance to during the open campus event. This has given me a clearer picture of what to expect in my university life." The next "Sakidori! New Student Orientation" is scheduled as follows.
