We are planning to renew the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Science and Engineering and establish new departments.

Teikyo University plans to renovate Faculty of Science and Engineering in April 2025, establishing Department of Integrated Science and Engineering (tentative name) and Department of Data Science (tentative name). The curriculum for current students and those enrolled in 2024 in the Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering will continue after 2025, and the current four departments in Faculty of Science and Engineering will be maintained until current students and those enrolled in 2024 graduate. Many of the new subjects offered in the new departments will be available to current students and those enrolled in 2024, so the curriculum for current students will be further enhanced.

Department of Integrated Science and Engineering (tentative name)

We are planning to reorganize the four departments of the Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering at Utsunomiya Campus (Department of Mechanical and Precision Systems, Department of Aerospace Engineering, Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, and Department of Biosciences) to establish a new department. We will set up four courses: "Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Course", "Robotics and Al Course", "Computer Science Course", and "Environment and Biotechnology Course", and students will learn basic knowledge in a wide range of science and engineering fields before studying each specialized field in depth.

Department of Data Science (tentative name)

We are planning to install a new one on Itabashi Campus. Taking advantage of the strengths of a comprehensive university, you will study data science related to medical data and management data in collaboration with the medical faculty and Faculty of Economics. Based on the theoretical foundations of mathematics, statistics, and information engineering, we utilize problem-solving learning methods to develop data scientists who have the ability to create valuable information from data and utilize it in decision-making. .
