Students from Hachioji Campusparticipated in a sports hospitality seminar and venue tour organized by FC Tokyo

On Friday, September 13, 2024, students from Teikyo University participated in a seminar at the National Stadium (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) on the reasons, background, and case studies of promoting sports hospitality as a company's business.
Our university has signed a club sponsorship contract with FC Tokyo, and this project was planned as a pre-event class to investigate what kind of hospitality is required to attract foreign tourists to FC Tokyo's home games. Senior Assistant Professor was invited from JTB Corporation, and students studying sports business learned from examples of sporting events held in Japan so far that by providing special services, high-quality food and drink, and preparing special gifts in addition to tickets, students can share their impressions and experiences through watching sports. After the special lecture, the students toured the National Stadium, visiting the spectator seats and reception rooms that are not usually open to the public.
Our university will continue to provide students with an environment in which to learn about sports business through Practical learning.
