Students from Hachioji Campusin collaboration with FC Tokyo, conducted a survey of foreign visitors attending matches.

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the National Stadium (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) in the 30th round of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League match between FC Tokyo and Nagoya Grampus, students from Teikyo University collaborated with FC Tokyo, with whom our university has a club sponsorship contract, to conduct a survey of foreign visitors watching the match.
On the day, 25 students participated and were divided into 10 locations around the National Stadium to conduct a questionnaire survey. During the survey, a student commented, "Because of the success of the Japanese national team in the World Cup, the J.League has been attracting attention from soccer powerhouses overseas, and it seems that one of the reasons for coming to Japan is to watch FC Tokyo's matches." In addition, the stadium was decorated with blue and red fireworks and penlights, creating a sense of unity throughout the venue.
Many of the students who participated in this program learned about the special classes being held in collaboration with FC Tokyo before enrolling at the university, and enrolled in the university to study sports business. The university will continue to provide students with opportunities to learn about sports marketing through practical experience.
