On Friday, December 20, 2024, Teikyo University School Corporation signed a collaboration agreement with the Okinawa Churashima Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Okinawa Churashima Foundation).
The purpose of this agreement is to work together to solve issues such as biodiversity conservation and environmental problems, and to build better relationships between people and animals, through cooperation and collaboration between our university, which has an extensive research track record on infectious microorganisms, and the Okinawa Churashima Foundation, which has a track record of research and captivating marine animals through breeding and rearing techniques.
The signing ceremony was attended by the university's Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga, Professor Koichi Makimura, Vice Head of Center of the University's Medical Mycology Research Center, Chairman the Okinawa Churashima Foundation Seijun Wakikawa, and Director of the University's Veterinary Hospital Keiichi Ueda, and the collaboration agreement was signed in a friendly atmosphere.
