A study abroad fair was held at Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus for five days from Thursday, April 17th to Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, sponsored by Office of Global Education.
This event was aimed at current students at Hachioji Campus, and aimed to introduce them to the long- and short-term study abroad and overseas internship programs available from this summer onwards. 240 students participated. During the event, numerous information sessions were held for each program, announcing the outline of the program and how to apply. Many students expressed interest in short-term training programs lasting two to three weeks over the long holiday break, and the Durham Study Abroad Program, which allows students to travel to the university's Durham campus for an extended period. There were also roundtable discussions with students who have studied abroad, and reports from students who have returned from studying abroad were available to view, providing a number of opportunities to encourage students interested in going abroad. The university will continue to actively implement such events in order to realize its Educational Guidelines of "International perspectives."
