Itabashi CampusGraduate School of Public Health held the Teikyo International Summer School 2025

The Graduate Graduate School of Public Health held the Teikyo International Summer School 2025 at Teikyo Graduate School 's Itabashi Campus from Saturday, July 5th to Saturday, July 12th, 2025.
Teikyo International Summer School is an annual program that utilizes the educational methods that our graduate school has cultivated in collaboration with Harvard University, and is attended by many auditing students from outside the university, including students from our overseas partner schools.

This year, six students and two faculty members from our academic partner University of Southern California (USA) and one student from Taipei Medical University (Taiwan) participated. In addition to doctoral students, many master's students from our graduate school also participated as auditors and student supporters.
The program consisted of two themes. The first half, titled "Healthcare Management," explored the fundamental principles of organizational behavior in the field of public health. The second half, titled "Universal Health Coverage and an Aging Society," deepened students' understanding of global health policies against the backdrop of aging and epidemiological transition through Japanese case studies. In addition to lectures, interactive group work and lively discussions were also conducted. Furthermore, as part of the program, students visited Teikyo University Hospital, the Taito Ward Public Health Center, and the Kaga Sakura no Mori Special Nursing Home, providing a valuable opportunity for them to gain firsthand experience in the fields of medical care, health, and welfare in Japan. Furthermore, on the first and last days of the school, student and faculty networking events were held, providing a platform for international academic and cultural exchange.

Teikyo University will continue to provide an international environment and practical learning opportunities to nurture global talent. We hope to expand the network of students studying at our university, both domestically and internationally.
