On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the Teikyo University Wind Orchestra performed at the Autumn Ginza Traffic Safety Golden Parade, which was held on Ginza Street in Chuo Ward, Tokyo. The parade has a history of over 50 years and is an event that livens up Ginza with performances by brass bands and baton twirlers, with the theme of promoting traffic safety in the safe and secure city of Ginza.
On the day, as many spectators, including people from overseas, gathered along the roadside, the brass band performed in perfect harmony, marching down Ginza Street with smiles on their faces and waving to the audience between songs. The band members said with satisfied expressions, "We don't often have the opportunity to perform outside, so this was a valuable experience."
The Wind Orchestra will hold its 52nd regular concert at Curiosity Hall on Hachioji Campus on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Please come along!
