Chairman and President Okinaga pays a courtesy visit to National University of Laos (Hachioji Campus

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Teikyo University Chairman ? President Yoshihito Okinaga, Faculty of Economics Department of Economics Dean Hidenobu Okuda, Faculty Department of International Economy Director Fumikazu Sugiura, Department Professor Tadashi Kikuchi, and two of our staff paid a courtesy visit to National University of Laos National University of Laos is one of the TAEP (Teikyo University Asia Exchange Program) partner universities, a program established at Hachioji Campus with the aim of fostering human resources who will contribute to the development of Japan and the Asian region. The program currently has agreements with universities in seven Southeast Asian countries and accepts international students.
During this courtesy visit, attended by TUAT's President and National University of Laos President, a signing ceremony was held in conjunction with the renewal of the MOU (international exchange agreement between the departments), and opinions were also exchanged on the possibility of further exchange for future development. In addition, National University of Laos presented a letter of appreciation from the Lao Minister of Education in recognition of the fact that the university's students who studied through TAEP have been active as excellent human resources contributing to the development of Laos after returning home. This was also reported in the Vientiane Times, the local Laotian media.
