Facilities and Equipment Used by the School of Medicine
Through practice, acquire the basic skills required as a medical professional
School of Medicine has various training facilities. By deepening the understanding of the knowledge learned in lectures and gaining experience in an environment closer to the actual site, we aim to det used to enter the hospital training soon.
Teikyo University Hospital
The Hospital adjacent to the School of Medicine inthe Itabashi Campus, provides advanced medical cares as a Special Functioning Hospital and is used as a place to experience the medical field through practical training.
Anatomy training room
Students Use in the 2nd year of anatomy training. While confirming the knowledge of anatomy, students deepen the understanding about systematic anatomy in each part in the lecture .
Physical Assessment Unit (Simulation Room 1)
In the training, we use a simulator that can train auscultation for heart and breath sounds.
Physical assessment unit (simulation room 2)
We use a simulator that can train basic and advanced life support training, and practice in the actual treatment room by using a projector.
Teikyo Simulation Education and Research Center (TSERC)
By using cutting-edge simulators, students conduct simulation training to acquire comprehensive clinical abilities such as acquisition of techniques and algorithms for life-saving first aid.
Training room where you can do PBL tutorials
In the training room, which is suitable for discussions with a small number of people, students create learning materials from actual cases and learn the methodology of deciding symptoms and treatment policies.
Frontier Research Unit (FRU)
This is a facility for conducting joint research by multiple courses and laboratories in the university, and joint research by collaboration with organizations outside the university. There are culture facilities, analysis rooms, meeting spaces, and etc.
