We aim to support international students and help them interact with enrolled students.
As you may have experienced, while life in a new environment without friends or acquaintances is exciting, it also brings with it great worries and anxiety. Among the new students from overseas, there are many young international students who have just graduated from high school. There are also many students who are living away from their families for the first time in their lives. In addition, the stress is even greater because they are jumping into a country with a different "culture," "language," and "customs" - Japan. While adapting to a new environment and acquiring new values is a valuable experience, it can be extremely difficult without the support of those around you. The International Exchange Assistants are an organization of current students at our university that aims to ease the anxiety of new students as they take on this new environment, by providing support in both academics and daily life, and above all by being a good confidant and friend to international students. We also plan and manage exchange events with international students and support open campus events for international students.
