Teikyo Women's Junior College changed its name to Teikyo University Junior College and became coeducational.

The English department was renamed as the International Communication Department and the secretarial department was renamed as the Information Business Department.
The English major was renamed as the international communication major, and the secretarial major was renamed as the information business major.
