*The format and content of the program may change depending on the contents of the "2026 University Admissions Selection Guidelines" to be notified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Available benefits and systems

Benefits of taking the exam for 2 days or more
If applicants take the examination for the same faculty, department, or course on two different days for each time period (Period I and Period II), the following scores will be used to determine whether the applicant passed or failed the examination.

Second choice system
You can choose your second choice from the same faculty as your first choice. (There are restrictions on the subjects you can choose.) You do not need to submit a letter of intent for your second choice department or course. There is no additional entrance examination fee.

Teikyo University Junior College Second Choice System
Students may choose either Department of Human Cultures or Department of Contemporary Business as their second choice. There is no additional application fee.

English Language Proficiency Test System
Faculty of Economics Department of Economics For the Comprehensive Selection at Department of Regional Economics, Department of Business Administration, and Department of Tourism Management, if the applicant meets the standard score of the English Language Proficiency Test designated by the University, the results of the English Language Proficiency Test may be used by applying at the time of application, and points will be awarded in the pass/fail evaluation process.
Faculty of Economics Department of International Economy In the case of the Comprehensive Selection, if the applicant meets the standard score of the English qualification or certification test designated by the University, the applicant may use the result of the English external examination by applying at the time of application, and the score of the English subject will be converted into the score corresponding to the acquired score. If you use the English external examination system, you are still required to take the University's English subject tests, and the higher of "the score you took" or "the converted score" will be used to determine whether you pass or fail the examination. For more details, please refer to the "Entrance Examination Guideline 2026".

Bookkeeping external examination utilization system
In the comprehensive selection process for the Faculty of Faculty of Economics, students who have selected the bookkeeping subject and meet the eligibility requirements specified by the university can apply to have their bookkeeping subject score converted to 80 points. For details, please see the "Entrance Examination Guidelines 2026."

  • * 1 The Open Enrollment System is implemented in Phase I, and the Priority Admission School System is implemented in Phases I and II. The number of students to be admitted is the total number of Phases I and II.
  • *2 This number includes the number of students recommended by the All Japan Commercial Association (three students each for Department of Economics and Department of Business Administration, and five for Department of Regional Economics).

Applicants must be recommended by the principal of the school from which they graduated as being sufficiently qualified to complete a university education.

If you meet the standard score for the English qualification/proficiency test specified by our university, you can use the results of an external English test by applying. In the School of Faculty of Economics' school recommendation type selection (open application system), points will be added when determining whether or not you are accepted.
