The standard length of study for Graduate School of Teacher Education 's Division of Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education Practice is two years. However, there is also a one-year program for the School Leader Course and a three-year program for the Advanced Educational Practice Course.
1-year completion program This program is aimed at currently practicing teachers who have obtained a license as stipulated by the Educational Personnel Certification Act. As a result of the screening, some of the practical subjects may be exempted, and this is a short-term course system that allows students to obtain a specialized license in one year. The exemption is determined by the results of a document screening, oral examination, and entrance examination.

Those who are certified by the results of the entrance examination, document review, and oral examination as having the practical, academic, and research skills to be awarded a master's degree in teaching (professional) after one year of study in the educational program at Graduate School Graduate School of Teacher Education.
Of the 10 practical course credits required for graduation, up to 7 credits will be exempted based on the "Exemption Examination Criteria" in the "Practical Course Exemption Regulations" (see Entrance Examination Guidelines), and the instructors who are deemed to meet the conditions for exemption and have been exempted from 5 or more credits.
3-year completion program This program is aimed at those who have or are planning to obtain a first-class license for kindergarten, junior high school, or high school education and who are aiming to build a career as an elementary school teacher. Through three years of study at the Graduate School Graduate School of Teacher Education, students can obtain a first-class license for elementary school education and a specialized license (those who have or are planning to obtain a first-class license for elementary school education are not eligible to apply. Also, students cannot change to a two-year (standard) completion period midway through the program). In 2nd year and 3rd year, students take the first- and second-year courses (excluding courses taken in 1st year) of the Advanced Educational Practice Course (two-year (standard)).
