Available benefits and systems

Benefits for taking the exam on two or more days
If you take the exam on two days for the same faculty/department/course in each period (I and II), the scores from the basic ability aptitude test and the interview will be added together for each exam, and the higher score will be used.

  • *Even if the elective subjects differ between the first and second days, the same method of scoring is used.

Second choice system
You can choose your second choice from the same faculty as your first choice. (There are restrictions on the subjects you can choose.) You do not need to submit a letter of intent for your second choice department or course. There is no additional entrance examination fee.

External English Testing System
If you meet the standard score for the English qualification/proficiency test designated by our university, you can use the results of an external English test by applying. In the comprehensive selection process for the Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering, points will be added when determining whether or not you are accepted. Third choice system
You may choose a third choice from the Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering. There is no additional application fee.

External English Testing System
If you meet the standard score for the English qualification/proficiency test designated by our university, you can apply for the results of an external English test at the time of application, and your English subject scores will be converted to a score that corresponds to your obtained score. Even if you use the external English test utilization system, you will still take the English subjects at our university, and the higher of the "test score" or "converted score" will be used. Selection Process

In the 2026 Common University Entrance Examination, the pass/fail decision will be based on the grades in the subjects and courses designated by the university. The university will not conduct individual academic ability tests. There are two methods, the "3-subject method" and the "external English examination method." If you apply for both methods, the method with the higher score will be used to decide whether you pass or fail.
Three-subject method: Pass/fail will be determined based on the total score of the three highest subjects.
External English Exam Method: The higher of the "total of the converted score of the external English exam and the highest scores in the two subjects excluding English" in the external English exam method, or the "total of the highest scores in the three subjects" in the three-subject method, will be used to determine pass/fail.

  • * The Common Test for University Admissions selection are required to take the three-subject test, and can also take the English external test. There is no additional entrance examination fee.
