Features and Structures of the Teacher Education Curriculum
Teacher training goals and plans for achieving those goals
Our teacher training is based on our School Philosophy and aims to produce teachers who, on top of acquiring the "specialized knowledge" appropriate for a university, possess the "expertise and skills" appropriate for the teaching profession, and who, even as new graduates, are able to integrate theory and practice and are equipped with the minimum necessary teaching and classroom management skills to be immediately ready for the job. To achieve this, we promote education that aims to integrate theory and practice in classes and teaching practice in our teacher training courses, so that the practical qualities and abilities required of teachers are cultivated. We have also established a "Teacher Training Center" as an institution where students hoping to enter the teaching profession can receive daily consultation, guidance, and support, and as a university we take responsibility for our aim of training teachers who will send outstanding practical talent into the classroom.
