The environment surrounding us is changing rapidly with the progress of globalization. At this institute, we aim to create human resources who can challenge various issues in the real world and open up the future with new idea. We will continue to make a social contribution and enhancement of education and research aiming to a co-creative society through the collaboration of diverse human beings.
Teikyo University's Educational Guidelines are "Practical learning," "International perspectives," and "Open mindedness" but we believe we must remain sensitive to the changing times. What kind of "Practical learning" should Teikyo University be striving for now? What kind of re-education model should we build for working adults in this age of lifelong education? What kind of faculty should we have to meet these needs? It is important to continue to consider how to incorporate these Educational Guidelines into our educational programs. There are institutions within the university that are revising the university's educational curriculum, but Okinaga Research Institute of Teikyo University intends to reexamine "Practical learning," "International perspectives," and "Open mindedness" from a more objective and broad perspective. Taking advantage of the advantages of being a compact institution, we are not afraid of challenges and would like to steadily feed back positive ideas to the university.

ClassQ
At Hachioji Campus, we offer a class called "Improving Questioning Skills," which uses the morning newspaper of the day as teaching material and aims to develop students into people who can ask questions and learn on their own. We also have extracurricular events and projects planned and run by students themselves. The "Forestry Project" aims to rebuild the nation's land by regenerating neglected forests and promoting forestation for a society where people can smile.
